So yeah, I’m Sacha

I’m a young graphic designer who believes in purposeful pixels and fresh ink to create visuals as unique as the people behind them.

I've been called Glypse logo glypse online since pretty much forever, and that username’s still sticking with me to this day.

More about me 👇

In Short

I’m Sacha, a 20-year-old graphic design student at La Cambre in Belgium. My work nowadays focuses on creating purposeful and 🔬 researched designs that resonate with audiences, making use of my extensive digital knowledge and toolset. Since I started designing in 2020, I’ve had the privilege of working with wonderful clients worldwide 🌐, such as Unmatched Marketing (US), Witty Donut (IN), E.F.T. Trio (FR), Tonan Studio (US), Senses Of Mind (BE), to name a few.

My Approach

I believe design should be purposeful, not just pretty. Whether it’s a brand identity, a poster, or a digital product, I strive to create work that’s thoughtful, organized, and impactful. I’m a perfectionist at heart 💖 - pixel-perfect visuals, optimized workflows, and deeply researched strategies are my jam ✨.

I’ve been using computers since... Forever. Like, seriously: this is me at what, 3? And I was already playing around on daddy’s Macbook, taking picutes of myself with Photo Booth when he wasn’t looking. At 9, I discovered Minecraft: I still play it sometimes to this day. At 11, we were recording goofy sketches with my little brother on grandma’s old camera. At 16, I built my first custom desktop PC.

I’ve always loved all things digital 🖥️, and I think I’ll always do.

I started designing when I was 14, so in 2019. I discovered graphic design thanks to a video game, quickly got hooked, learned Adobe Photoshop Logo Photoshop, then Adobe Illustrator Logo Illustrator. In 2020, I thought a cool challenge to learn more would be to design a logo every day for an entire year, which I did. I learned a lot, and of my free time, I also learned some poster design, overall branding, as well as motion design and a bit of 3D with Blender Logo Blender.

In 2021, I had the pleasure to release my very first font, Unbegs, on Studio Innate’s webshop. I’ve been collaborating with them and releasing products on their platform since. In 2023, I had the chance to intern at their studio in 🇬🇧 England. Lovely gent.

Nowadays, I spend most of my time working for my studies, Visual and graphic communication at La Cambre Logo La Cambre. There, we work on editorial design, branding, motion and animation, visual storytelling, and much more, and learn about art history, modern arts, graphic design history, and much more 😅.

Fun fact: despite my interest in all things digital, my favourite place at school is the old printing studio. Whenever I can find an excuse to hand-print work in my projects, I make sure to do so. This is me cleaning up the mess I had made after a long day of printing 🫠.

Politics isn’t a big part of my work, but is a big part of my mentality and approach to lots of things, including design philosophy. And by that, I mean:

  • Much efforts should be put into taking care of the climate crisis;
  • Everyone should have access to decent living standards, affordable healthcare, and a right to have their voices heard fairly;
  • No civilian’s home city should be turned into a war field;
  • Every human should have full control over their own body;
  • No one should have to follow another’s religion.

That can be summarized into, but is not limited to: 🖕 fuck Donald Trump, fuck facism, and fuck pretty much all forms of hate.

I also strongly disapprove of the use of generative AI for any final material, but I think that using it for research or inspiration is fair enough, while keeping its ecological impact in mind.
