Sacha aka. glypse
During the summer of 2024, I've had the pleasure to work with E.F.T. Trio, a newly forming
band, for Sessions, their debut album of chamber jazz.
The trio was looking for a
cover art reflecting the openness, universality and apoliticality of their jazz. They wanted
it to feel warm and timeless, while I wanted to give an aesthetic reminiscing of the
international typographical style. We landed on the "open" heads of the trio, black, red and
cream colours, and the Owners typeface.

Research
For this project, we wanted to communicate a warm and intimate universe. Our grouping into a
trio, our instruments, our style... I immediately thought about my friend Sacha, and so we
worked together in the creation of the cover art, aiming to link up sound and image as
perfectly as possible. We pretty much gave him « carte blanche », nonetheless his vision for
our album art immediately fit with what we had in mind.
He efficiently met up our
expectations, and well within the deadlines. He was particularly great at communcating and at
his search for details and aesthetics. We’ll be looking forward to working with him again.
